If distributing the acoustic treatment across the walls is not feasible, the focus should be on the ceiling to control noise pollution.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><b>Amount of acoustic treatment:<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Ideally, the total amount of sound-absorbing material should match the classroom&#8217;s floor area. However, it is more effective if the panels are suspended from the ceiling rather than directly attached.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><b>Thickness of acoustic panels:<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Between 5 and 10 cm.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><b>Positioning of acoustic panels:<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> To minimize interference with classroom lighting\u2014another crucial factor\u2014we recommend installing the panels in the form of acoustic baffles, 30\u201340 cm high by 60, 100, or 120 cm long, and 5 cm thick, placed perpendicular to the ceiling, like flags.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t<section class=\"elementor-section required for the windows will help control excess reverberation in the room.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>Coats:<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Placing coat hangers outside closets or hanging coats on the backs of chairs can also improve the room\u2019s acoustic absorption.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>Materials:<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Sound-absorbing materials that meet fire safety standards include melamine resin (e.g., <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/masacoustics.com\/product\/trampas-de-graves-redondas-premium\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Basotect<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">).
